Domestic Shipping. For books being sent within the United States (48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii), we offer two shipping options – Media Mail and Priority Mail. Both are services provided by the United States Postal Service. Rates and shipping times are:

Residents of Alaska and Hawaii please note that delivery times can be substantially longer, especially using Media Mail.

International Shipping. For books being shipped internationally, the shipping options we use will vary depending on the destination. The costs and delivery times can vary widely depending on the destination, weight and size of the shipment and desired delivery time. Because of this variability we do not quote standard shipping rates for international shipments. Instead we will send you an e-mail once we determine the available options and associated costs for your specific shipment. We will not process your order or charge your credit card until you have had a chance to review these options and confirm your shipping method. You should hear from us within 24–48 hours after placing your order. If in the meantime you have any questions, please contact us.

Shipping Large Orders and Sets. Generally, shipping is charged for each book (or each volume in a multi-volume set) shipped. When possible, we endeavor to ship sets more cheaply. For particularly large books or sets, shipping options and prices may vary from those described above. We will make every effort to describe the options and rates applicable in these cases within the description for the item. Whether or not described, we must reserve the right to change the shipping option and rate for such items from that offered on this site. We will inform you of any such change before processing your order.

Shipping Times. Shipping times are estimates. Actual delivery times may vary and cannot be guaranteed. If you require a different timeframe or greater certainty, we can try to make this available. To do so, you must place your order through one of our Booksellers at 1.800.563.1222. There may be a special charge for this service. Please remember that delivery times are often delayed during holiday seasons.
